English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Bakra (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man praised a companion in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ. He said: 'Woe to you! You have cut his neck. If you must praise, then say: I think him to be such and such, and Allah is his Reckoner, and I do not commend anyone before Allah, the Most High.'
