حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَأَبُو عَامِرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا كَبَّرَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يَجْعَلَهُمَا قَرِيبًا مِنْ أُذُنَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ صَنَعَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
English Translation
It was narrated from Malik ibn al-Huwayrith (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he said the takbir, would raise his hands until they were close to his ears. When he bowed, he did the same. When he raised his head from bowing, he did the same.
