نِ مُغَفَّلٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْلَا أَنَّ الْكِلَابَ أُمَّةٌ مِنْ الْأُمَمِ لَأَمَرْتُ بِقَتْلِهَا وَلَكِنْ اقْتُلُوا مِنْهَا كُلَّ أَسْوَدَ بَهِيمٍ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever keeps a dog, except for herding, hunting, or guarding crops, will have one qirat deducted from his reward each day.'
