English Translation
It was narrated from Qabisa al-Hilali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the sun was eclipsed, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and prayed two rak'ahs with prolonged recitation. When the eclipse cleared he said: 'The sun and the moon are two signs among the signs of Allah the Exalted. He frightens His servants through them. When you see an eclipse, pray as you would pray the most recent of the obligatory prayers you have performed.'
