حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مَنْ بَنِي

أُقَيْشٍ قَالَ مَعَهُ كِتَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ صِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ الشَّهْرِ يُذْهِبُ وَحَرَ الصَّدْرِ

English Translation
It was narrated from a man of Banu Uqaysh (may Allah be pleased with him) that he had a letter from the Prophet ﷺ which stated: 'Fasting three days of each month removes the rancour of the chest.'
