English Translation
It was narrated from Umm 'Atiyya al-Ansariyya (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — may my father and mother be sacrificed for him — commanded them to bring out on Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha the unmarried girls, those in seclusion, and the menstruating women. The menstruating women were to stay away from the prayer area but witness the goodness and the supplication of the Muslims. Someone asked: 'What about one who has no outer garment?' He said: 'Let her sister lend her one of her outer garments.'
