حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا عَنْ صَلَاةِ النَّبِيِّ صَ
لَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ كَانَ يُخَفِّفُ وَلَا يُصَلِّي صَلَاةَ هَؤُلَاءِ قَالَ وَنَبَّأَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ بِ ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ وَنَحْوِهَا

English Translation
It was narrated from Jabir ibn Samura (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not make the prayer burdensome upon the people. After praying Fajr, he would sit in his place until the sun had fully risen, and only then would he rise.
