حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جَنَازَةِ أَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ وَهُوَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ يَتَوَقَّصُ وَنَحْنُ نَسْعَى حَوْلَهُ
English Translation
It was narrated from Jabir ibn Samura (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the funeral of Abu al-Dahdah. He was on a horse that moved with short, quick steps, and we were walking quickly around him.
