Hadith #597
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ
عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا هَلَكَ قَيْصَرُ فَلَا قَيْصَرَ بَعْدَهُ وَإِذَا هَلَكَ كِسْرَى فَلَا كِسْرَى بَعْدَهُ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتُنْفَقَنَّ كُنُوزُهُمَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
It was narrated from Jabir ibn Samura (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When Caesar perishes, there will be no Caesar after him. When Kisra perishes, there will be no Kisra after him. By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, you will spend their treasures in the way of Allah.'
