‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏يَحْيَى ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَشْعَثَ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏الْحَسَنِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏صَلَّى بِهَؤُلَاءِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ وَهَؤُلَاءِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَكَانَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏أَرْبَعًا وَلَهُمْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Bakra (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ prayed two rak'ahs with one group and two rak'ahs with another group, so the prayer counted as four rak'ahs for the Prophet ﷺ and two rak'ahs each for them.
