حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ أَبُو دَاوُدَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ ال
ْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَعْنِي صُومُوا الْهِلَالَ لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ ثَلَاثِينَ وَالشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَعَقَدَ
Isnad Chain

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Bakra (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Fast upon seeing the crescent and break your fast upon seeing it. If it is obscured from you, complete the count as thirty, and the month is like this and like this and like this' — and he clasped his fingers.
