Hadith #284

English Translation
It was narrated from Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wore striped Himyarite garments and the Companions wore them in his time. Umar wanted to forbid striped garments dyed with urine, but Ubayy said: 'That is not your right — the Prophet ﷺ wore them and we wore them in his time.'
