English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'I asked: Which mosque was placed on earth first?' He said: 'The Sacred Mosque.' I asked: 'Then which?' He said: 'Al-Masjid al-Aqsa.' I asked: 'How long between them?' He said: 'Forty years.' I asked: 'Then what?' He said: 'Wherever prayer catches you, pray there — for it is a mosque.'
