English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah دلوالله said: "Your smiling in the face of your brother is charity, and commanding good and forbidding evil is charity, and your directing a man who is lost in the land is charity, and your removing stones, thorns and bones from the path is charity, and your pouring water from your bucket into your brother's bucket is charity, and your intimacy with your wife is charity." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, will one of us satisfy his desire and be rewarded for it?" He said: "If he were to put it in something forbidden, would he not bear sin? So likewise, if he puts it in something lawful, he will have reward."
