حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَهُ عَنْ أَوَّلِ مَسْجِدٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ قَالَ الْمَسْجِدُ الْحَرَامُ ثُمَّ بَيْتُ الْمَقْدِسِ فَسُئِلَ كَمْ بَيْنَهُمَا قَالَ أَرْبَعُونَ عَامًا وَحَيْثُمَا أَدْرَكَتْكَ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلِّ فَثَمَّ مَسْجِدٌ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Prophet دلوالله about the first mosque placed for people. He said: "Al-Masjid al-Haram." He asked: "Then Bayt al-Maqdis?" He asked: "How long between them?" He said: "Forty years. And wherever the prayer time finds you, pray, for it is a mosque."
