حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ

عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الرَّجُلُ يَعْمَلُ لِنَفْسِهِ فَيُحِبُّهُ النَّاسُ قَالَ تِلْكَ عَاجِلُ بُشْرَى الْمُؤْمِنِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Messenger of Allah دلوالله about a man who does good deeds and people love him for it. He said: "That is the immediate glad tidings for the believer."
