حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُقَيْلٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ كَانَ وَاصِلٌ رُبَّمَا ذَ
كَرَ أَبَا الْأَسْوَدِ الدِّيْلِيَّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ أَعْمَالُ أُمَّتِي حَسَنُهَا وَسَيِّئُهَا فَوَجَدْتُ فِي مَحَاسِنِ أَعْمَالِهَا الْأَذَى يُمَاطُ عَنْ الطَّرِيقِ وَوَجَدْتُ فِي مَسَاوِئِ أَعْمَالِهَا النُّخَاعَةَ تَكُونُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لَا تُدْفَنُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet دلوالله said: "The deeds of my nation were presented to me — their good and their bad. I found among the best of their deeds removing harm from the road. And I found among the worst of their deeds spittle in the mosque that is not buried."
