Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَلِيلِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَطِيَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُزَاحِمُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ زَمَنَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالْوَ
رَقُ يَتَهَافَتُ فَأَخَذَ بِغُصْنَيْنِ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ قَالَ فَجَعَلَ ذَلِكَ الْوَرَقُ يَتَهَافَتُ قَالَ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ قُلْتُ لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ الْمُسْلِمَ لَيُصَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ يُرِيدُ بِهَا وَجْهَ اللَّهِ فَتَهَافَتُ عَنْهُ ذُنُوبُهُ كَمَا يَتَهَافَتُ هَذَا الْوَرَقُ عَنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet دلوالله shook a tree and its leaves began falling. He said: "O Abu Dharr." He said: "Here I am, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "When a Muslim servant prays, seeking Allah's face, his sins fall away just as these leaves fall from this tree."
