حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّهُ تَسَحَّرَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى ا
Body (Matn)
للَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ثُمَّ خَرَجْنَا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِزَيْدٍ كَمْ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ قَدْرُ قِرَاءَةِ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Zaid ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he took the pre-dawn meal with the Prophet دلوالله, then they went out to the mosque and the prayer was established. Zaid was asked how much time passed between the two. He said: "About the time it takes to recite fifty verses."
