حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا قَاسِمُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمِقْدَامِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ آيَاتٍ مِنْ الْقُرْآنِ وَيُذَكِّرُ النَّاسَ وَكَانَتْ خُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا وَصَلَاتُهُ قَصْدًا
English Translation
It was narrated from Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite Quranic verses in his khutbah, admonish the people, and remind them of the days of Allah.
