حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ وَيَتْلُو آيَاتٍ مِنْ الْقُرْآنِ وَكَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ قَصْدًا وَخُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا
English Translation
It was narrated from Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ would sit between the two khutbahs, recite verses from the Quran, and his prayer was moderate and his khutbah was moderate.
