حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَب
ِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ قِيلَ لِأُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يُؤْتَى بِالرَّجُلِ الَّذِي كَانَ يُطَاعُ فِي مَعَاصِي اللَّهِ تَعَالَى فَيُقْذَفُ فِي النَّارِ فَتَنْدَلِقُ بِهِ أَقْتَابُهُ فَيَسْتَدِيرُ فِيهَا كَمَا يَسْتَدِيرُ الْحِمَارُ فِي الرَّحَا فَيَأْتِي عَلَيْهِ أَهْلُ طَاعَتِهِ مِنْ النَّاسِ فَيَقُولُونَ أَيْ فُلَ أَيْنَ مَا كُنْتَ تَأْمُرُنَا بِهِ فَيَقُولُ إِنِّي كُنْتُ آمُرُكُمْ بِأَمْرٍ وَأُخَالِفُكُمْ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Usama ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ß say: "A man will be brought who used to be obeyed in acts of disobedience to Allah. He will be thrown into Hell, and his intestines will pour out. He will go around them like a donkey goes around a millstone. The people of Hell will gather around him and say: O so-and-so, what happened to you? Were you not commanding us to do good and forbidding evil? He will say: I used to command you to do good but not do it myself, and I used to forbid you from evil but do it myself."'
