حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَعَلَ الرُّقْبَى لِلَّذِي أُرْقِبَهَا وَالْعُمْرَى لِلَّذِي أُعْمِرَهَا
English Translation
It was narrated from Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ß said: 'The ruqba (conditional gift) belongs to the one who is given it conditionally, and the 'umra (life grant) belongs to the one who is given it for life.'
