حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَيْحَانَةَ عَنْ سَفِينَةَ

صَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ وَيَتَطَهَّرُ بِالْمُدِّ

English Translation
It was narrated from Safina — the Companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to bathe with a sa' and perform ablution with a mudd.'
