حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ أُمِرْنَا أَنْ نُسَبِّحَ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَسْبِيحَةً وَنَحْمَدَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَحْمِيدَةً وَنُكَبِّرَ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَكْبِيرَةً قَالَ فَرَأَى رَجُلٌ فِي الْمَنَامِ فَقَالَ أُمِرْتُمْ بِثَ
لَاثٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ تَسْبِيحَةً وَثَلَاثٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ تَحْمِيدَةً وَأَرْبَعٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ تَكْبِيرَةً فَلَوْ جَعَلْتُمْ فِيهَا التَّهْلِيلَ فَجَعَلْتُمُوهَا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَدْ رَأَيْتُمْ فَافْعَلُوا أَوْ نَحْوَ ذَلِكَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'We were commanded to say subhanallah thirty-three times, alhamdulillah thirty-three times, and Allahu akbar thirty-four times after every prayer.' He said: 'One of the Ansar saw a vision in which he was told to say Allahu akbar thirty-three times, so he came and mentioned that to the Prophet ß. The Messenger of Allah ß said: "Do that."'
