حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ الْمُرِّيُّ قَاضِي الْبَلْقَاءِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاع
ِيلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أُمَّ الدَّرْدَاءِ تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فَرَغَ اللَّهُ إِلَى كُلِّ عَبْدٍ مِنْ خَمْسٍ مِنْ أَجَلِهِ وَرِزْقِهِ وَأَثَرِهِ وَشَقِيٍّ أَمْ سَعِيدٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ß say: "Allah has predetermined for every servant five things: his lifespan, his deeds, his resting place, his footsteps, and his sustenance."'
