Hadith #98
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ
عَنْ حَرْبِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَلَبِسَ ثِيَابَهُ وَمَسَّ طِيبًا إِنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ ثُمَّ مَشَى إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ وَلَمْ يَتَخَطَّ أَحَدًا وَلَمْ يُؤْذِهِ وَرَكَعَ مَا قُضِيَ لَهُ ثُمَّ انْتَظَرَ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ الْإِمَامُ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَ الْجُمُعَتَيْنِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ß said: "Whoever bathes on Friday, puts on his clothes, applies perfume if he has any, then walks to the Friday prayer with tranquility, does not step over people, prays what is prescribed for him, then remains silent while the imam speaks — Allah will forgive him from that Friday to the next."'
