English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ performed wudu and washed his face three times, his hands three times each, and wiped over his head. He said: 'The ears are part of the head.' Hammad said: I do not know whether this was the statement of Abu Umamah or of the Prophet ﷺ. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wipe over his leather socks.
