حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنِّي لَبِعُقْرِ حَوْضِي أ
َذُودُ عَنْهُ لِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ أَضْرِبُ بِعَصَايَ حَتَّى يَرْفَضَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَسُئِلَ عَنْ عَرْضِهِ فَقَالَ مِنْ مُقَامِي إِلَى عُمَانَ وَسُئِلَ عَنْ شَرَابِهِ فَقَالَ أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنْ اللَّبَنِ وَأَحْلَى مِنْ الْعَسَلِ يَنْشَعِبُ فِيهِ مِيزَابَانِ يَمُدَّانِهِ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ أَحَدُهُمَا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَالْآخَرُ مِنْ وَرِقٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I will be at the edge of my Pool, driving the people away to make room for the people of Yemen, striking them with my staff until it flows freely for them.' He was asked about its width and said: 'From my station to Oman.' He was asked about its drink and said: 'Whiter than milk, sweeter than honey. Two channels flow into it from Paradise, one of silver and the other of gold.'
