حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ نُ
عَيْمِ بْنِ هَمَّارٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ الشُّهَدَاءِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ الَّذِينَ إِنْ يُلْقَوْا فِي الصَّفِّ يَلْفِتُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ حَتَّى يُقْتَلُوا أُولَئِكَ يَنْطَلِقُونَ فِي الْغُرَفِ الْعُلَى مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ وَيَضْحَكُ إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ وَإِذَا ضَحِكَ رَبُّكَ إِلَى عَبْدٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلَا حِسَابَ عَلَيْهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Nu'aym ibn Hammar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Prophet ﷺ: 'Which martyrs are the best?' He said: 'Those who, when they stand in the battle line, do not turn their faces away until they are slain. They dwell in the highest chambers of Paradise, and their Lord smiles upon them. When your Lord smiles upon a servant in this world, there is no reckoning held against him.'
