حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ أَخْبَرَنَا عَيَّاشُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ كُلَيْبَ بْنَ صُبْح

Body (Matn)

ٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ الزِّبْرِقَانَ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيِّ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ فَنَامَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى طَلَعَتْ الشَّمْسُ لَمْ يَسْتَيْقِظُوا وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَدَأَ بِالرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَرَكَعَهُمَا ثُمَّ أَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ فَصَلَّى

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Amr ibn Umayyah al-Damri (may Allah be pleased with him) that they were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on one of his journeys and they slept past the Fajr prayer until the sun rose. He said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ began with the two rak'ahs of sunnah, then prayed Fajr.'
