حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو

جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ غَرِيمِهِ أَوْ مَحَا عَنْهُ كَانَ فِي ظِلِّ الْعَرْشِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Whoever gives his debtor more time to pay, or forgives his debt, will be in the shade of the Throne on the Day of Resurrection.'
