It was narrated from Kabshah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she saw Abu Qatadah tilt a vessel for a cat to drink from it. She said: 'Are you surprised?' He replied: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed us that cats are not impure; they are among those that go around among you.'
