English Translation

It was narrated from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to hear and obey in hardship and ease, in what we like and dislike, not to dispute authority with those who hold it, to speak the truth wherever we are, and not to fear any blame in the path of Allah.'
