حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ

بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالسَّلَامِ فَهُوَ أَوْلَى بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَبِرَسُولِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever initiates the greeting of peace is closer to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and to His Messenger ﷺ.'
