حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ سَمِعَ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ ع

َنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ نَابَهُ شَيْءٌ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيَقُلْ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ إِنَّمَا التَّصْفِيحُ لِلنِّسَاءِ وَالتَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Sahl ibn Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever has something happen to him during his prayer, let him say SubhanAllah — for clapping is for women and saying SubhanAllah is for men.'
