English Translation
It was narrated from Sahl ibn Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'I saw Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, on the day of Uhud. She burned a piece of matting and placed the ash on the wound on the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. A shield full of water was brought and she washed the blood from him.'
