English Translation

It was narrated from Sahl ibn Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man peeked at the Prophet ﷺ through the curtain of his chamber. The Prophet ﷺ had a comb in his hand and said: 'If I had known that this one was watching me until I came to him, I would have stabbed his eye with it. Permission to enter was only ordained because of the need to guard the sight.'
