حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْ
هِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سَيُفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمْ الشَّامُ وَإِنَّ بِهَا مَكَانًا يُقَالُ لَهُ الْغُوطَةُ يَعْنِي دِمَشْقَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَنَازِلِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَعْنِي فِي الْمَلَاحِمِ

English Translation
It was narrated from a companion of the Prophet ﷺ that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Syria will be opened to you, and in it is a place called al-Ghutah — meaning Damascus — which is among the best dwelling places of the Muslims in the time of great battles.'
