Hadith #139
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ
أَبِي الْمُهَاجِرِ عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَهُ فِي غَزَاةٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ بَكِّرُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فِي الْيَوْمِ الْغَيْمِ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ فَاتَهُ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was with him on a military campaign and he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Perform the prayer early on cloudy days, for whoever misses the 'Asr prayer, his deeds will be rendered void."'
