حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَل
َّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَصْبَحَ النَّاسُ صِيَامًا لِتَمَامِ ثَلَاثِينَ قَالَ فَجَاءَ أَعْرَابِيَّانِ فَشَهِدَا أَنَّهُمَا أَهَلَّا الْهِلَالَ بِالْأَمْسِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسَ فَأَفْطَرُوا

English Translation
It was narrated from some Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that the people had been fasting to complete thirty days when two bedouins came and testified that they had sighted the crescent the previous day. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then commanded the people to break their fast.
