حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ غَالِبًا الْقَطَّانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَد

ِّهِ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَبِي يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أَبِيكَ السَّلَامُ

English Translation
It was narrated from the grandfather of a man from Banu Numayr that he came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'My father sends you his greetings of peace.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Peace be upon you and upon your father.'
