حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا الْحَس
َنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ يَخْطُبُ بَعْدَمَا قُتِلَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِذْ قَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَزْدِ آدَمُ طُوَالٌ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاضِعَهُ فِي حَبْوَتِهِ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَحَبَّنِي فَلْيُحِبَّهُ فَلْيُبَلِّغْ الشَّاهِدُ الْغَائِبَ وَلَوْلَا عَزْمَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ

English Translation
It was narrated from Zuhayr ibn al-Aqmar that while al-Hasan ibn Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was giving a sermon after Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was killed, a tall dark man from the Azd tribe stood up and said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ holding him in his lap, saying: Whoever loves me, let him love him. Let those present convey this to those absent. Were it not for the command of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ...'
