Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حَجَّاجَ بْنَ حَجَّاجٍ الْأَسْلَمِيَّ وَكَانَ إِمَامَهُمْ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَ يَحُجُّ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ أُرَاهُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَإِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from a man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ — Hajjaj thought it was Abdullah — from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: 'The intensity of heat is from the breath of Hell. When the heat becomes intense, delay the prayer until it cools down.'
