حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُخَيْمِرَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أ
َصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ قَتَلَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ أَوْ لَمْ يَجِدْ رِيحَ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْصُورٌ الشَّاكُّ إِنَّ رِيحَهَا تُوجَدُ مِنْ قَدْرِ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا

English Translation
It was narrated from a man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: 'Whoever kills a man from the People of the Covenant will not smell the fragrance of Paradise — or will not find the scent of Paradise' — Mansur being the one who doubted — 'and indeed its scent can be detected from a distance of seventy years.'
