حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ يَخْطُبُ بِالشَّامِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ
عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحَدِّثُ عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ بْنَ مَرْوَانَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الْخَمْرِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْخَمْرِ إِنْ شَرِبَهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ عَادَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ عَادَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ عَادَ الرَّابِعَةَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from a man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ that he narrated to Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan about wine, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If he drinks it, flog him. If he does it again, flog him. If he does it again, flog him. If he does it a fourth time, kill him.'
