حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ عَنْ زَاذَانَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ قَالَ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَو
ْ قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي صَلَاةٍ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَوْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الْغَفُورُ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from a man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ from the Ansar that he heard the Prophet ﷺ saying in prayer — Shu'bah said: 'My Lord, forgive me' or 'O Allah, forgive me and accept my repentance. Indeed You are the Oft-Returning, the Oft-Forgiving' — a hundred times.
