‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَبُو عَامِرٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَلِيٌّ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَيَّةُ التَّمِيمِيُّ ‏ ‏أَنَّ ‏ ‏أَبَاهُ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ ‏ ‏سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏يَقُولُ ‏ ‏لَا شَيْءَ فِي ‏ ‏الْهَامِ ‏ ‏وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَأَصْدَقُ ‏ ‏الطِّيَرِ الْفَأْلُ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from the father of Hayyah al-Tamimi that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'There is nothing to the omen of birds. The evil eye is real. And the most truthful of omens is the good omen.'
