حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَيَّةُ التَّمِيمِيُّ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا شَيْءَ فِي الْهَامِ وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَأَصْدَقُ الطِّيَرِ الْفَأْلُ
English Translation
It was narrated from the father of Hayyah al-Tamimi that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'There is nothing to the omen of birds. The evil eye is real. And the most truthful of omens is the good omen.'
