‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ‏ ‏وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏مَالِكٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏سُمَيٍّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏رُئِيَ ‏ ‏بِالْعَرْجِ ‏ ‏وَهُوَ يَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمَاءَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ مِنْ الْحَرِّ ‏ ‏أَوْ الْعَطَشِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from some Companions of the Prophet ﷺ that the Prophet ﷺ was seen at al-Arj pouring water over his head while he was fasting, either from the heat or from thirst.
