حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَرْحَمُ اللَّه
ُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا فِي الثَّالِثَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

English Translation
It was narrated from the grandmother of Yahya ibn Husayn that she said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: May Allah have mercy on those who shave — may Allah have mercy on those who shave — may Allah have mercy on those who shave.' On the third time they said: 'And those who shorten?' He said: 'And those who shorten.'
